Terms & conditions

Clear agreements for considered travel.

These essential terms help keep every journey well prepared, fair, and safe for guests, staff, and host communities.

Please read these principles alongside your trip proposal and booking confirmation. Those documents contain the specific dates, pricing, and cancellation details for your departure.

01

Booking & deposits

A place is confirmed once we receive your completed booking form and the stated deposit. The balance is due 60 days before departure unless your itinerary confirmation specifies otherwise.

02

Payment

Payments may be made by bank transfer or approved online method. Any bank, card, or currency-conversion fees are the traveller’s responsibility. We will provide a clear payment schedule before confirmation.

03

Cancellation & changes

Cancellation terms are shared with your booking confirmation and are based on the time remaining before departure. We strongly recommend comprehensive trip-cancellation insurance from the date you reserve.

04

Itinerary flexibility

Himalayan weather, trail conditions, road access, and guest wellbeing can require changes. Your leader may adjust the route, timing, accommodation, or transport when safety or responsible travel calls for it.

05

Health & fitness

You are responsible for declaring relevant medical information and arriving with the fitness appropriate to your selected trek. We may require a doctor’s clearance where altitude or medical history warrants it.

06

Insurance

Medical evacuation, emergency treatment, and high-altitude trekking coverage are mandatory. Please carry your policy details and ensure the altitude limit covers your full itinerary.

07

Respectful conduct

We ask all guests to respect local customs, fellow travellers, staff, wildlife, and the landscape. Unsafe, discriminatory, or disruptive behaviour may result from removal from the trip without refund.
